  1. Superb blog! Do you have any hints for aspiring writers? I’m hoping to start my own site soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you recommend starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m totally overwhelmed .. Any suggestions? Thanks!

    1. I use both the self-hosted WordPress and the free WordPress platforms. If you start on the free one, it’s pretty easy to upgrade to your own domain and import your blog to the new location. I’ve used Google blogs, too, but don’t like them as much as WordPress.

I have a blog for writers at http://first50.wordpress.com – it’s the free blog. It doesn’t have much help about how to write, it simply encourages you to write. Based on the fact that your comment here was literate and grammatically correct (you’d be surprised how many are not), I’d guess you already know how to write. You just need to start typing.

  2. Hello! I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering if you knew where I could find a captcha plugin for my comment form? I’m using the same blog platform as yours and I’m having problems finding one? Thanks a lot!
