I agree. It’s a shame that two such beneficial organizations got caught up in this. Even more so that it was mishandled so badly by the Komen people – who finally made a sort of apology that really didn’t clarify much.

Hopefully the Komen foundation can take some steps to restore their reputation amongst people who are upset by their move to cut funding for Planned Parenthood screenings. Sometimes bad decisions get made – as a whole I still believe the foundation is doing their best to contribute positively to society.

I personally love that Facebook is constantly making changes and making it easier for friends to find and communicate with each other. Others complain about the change but if you take the time to learn how to benefit from them I see them beniting everyone.

The laws have been stopped for now, but I’m sure some version of the idea will resurface. The President even mentioned protecting intellectual property in his state of the union address, so I think we need to stay alert to what the legislature is doing.
