Sourceforge takes up HTML Tidy

The open source folks at Sourceforge have taken on the HTML Tidy tool developed by Dave Raggett and originally offered by the W3C. The tool will clean up obsolete HTML and convert it to pristine XHTML. There are versions for many operating systems available. Sourceforge is working to create a library form of Tidy that can be incorporated into other software.
